Inaugural conference of the zero suicide alliance

5/8/2019

After four years of grief and two years of hard work and petition, The MindEd Trust, as co-Founder, in conjunction with Mersey Care, is hosting the inaugural conference of the Zero Suicide Alliance in London tomorrow.
We are bringing together the leaders of more than 150 NHS, Public Health, Emergency Service and corporate organisations to share best practice, improve front-line services and innovate new methods to prevent misery and reduce suicide. With the backing of the Prime Minister, the Secretary of State and the Minister for Suicide, together with MPs from across the political spectrum and many sector leaders, we aim to effect a rapid and system level upgrade in mental health services throughout the country.

There has been too much suffering for too long. With huge thanks to all those who have helped us on this journey so far. Media coverage is expected. In memory of Ed Mallen.
