The drive towards improving mental health support continues.

3/6/2020

The drive towards improving mental health support everywhere for everyone continues. Every community will have a locally developed 24/7 mental health and crisis care programme by next year. Let's give the NHS less to do by focusing on prevention and early intervention in education, the workplace and the community, ensuring that the everybody gets round-the-clock support.

Mental health crisis services rolled out across england

Mental health crisis teams will be strengthened and new alternative forms of provision such as safe havens and crisis cafes will open across the country as part of the NHS Long Term Plan. More than £200 million of national funding has been allocated to local areas to transform urgent and emergency mental health care through a network of services over the next two years.
